Job Title: Youth Support WorkerJob Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Youth Support Worker. This role requires someone who is motivated, flexible, and committed to providing excellent support and care to young people in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Empower young people to make positive and informed life choices.
  • Assist with daily routines, including domestic tasks, shopping, cleaning, meal preparation, and administration of medication.
  • Engage and communicate effectively with the young people in your care.
  • Implement behaviour support plans and write detailed daily shift notes.
  • Familiarise yourself with organisational policies, including Occupational Health and Safety.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A full NSW Driver's Licence and a Car.
  • Comprehensive or Third Party car insurance.
  • A Current Working with Children's Check.
  • Six months of paid and recent experience as a Youth Support Worker within a residential setting.
  • A Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
  • A Diploma of Community Services.
  • Medicare Evidence of 2 COVID-19 Vaccinations.
  • Current availability to work.
