Job Opportunity

You will be joining a highly experienced and functional team where you can grow your career in aged care.

About The Role

This is a part-time permanent role of 38 hours per fortnight. As a Lifestyle Officer, you will support the delivery of meaningful life programs to our residents.

  • Conduct resident assessments and complete associated documentation.
  • Design and facilitate individualized leisure and lifestyle programs according to clients' social, emotional, cultural, spiritual, physical, and cognitive needs and abilities.
  • Assist residents to achieve maximum independence, maintain friendships, and participate in the community through planned group and individual leisure-based activities.
  • Monitor and evaluate the program regularly to ensure it meets residents' needs.
  • Facilitate outing/bus trip programs and complete associated documentation.
  • Actively seek feedback and suggestions from residents to guide quality improvement.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Diploma or Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle qualifications (or working towards this).
  • Possession for delivering high-quality care that makes a difference for our residents.
  • Eagerness to grow and develop your aged care career.
  • Relevant experience in aged care (desirable).
  • Excellent customer service and resident relation skills.
  • Strong verbal, written, and communication skills and commitment to continuous quality improvement.
