Leisure and Lifestyle Program Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Leisure and Lifestyle Program Coordinator, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead our leisure and lifestyle activities program. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a range of programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents, including those living with dementia or mental health illness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead a comprehensive leisure and lifestyle activities program that meets the needs and interests of our residents.
  • Liaise with staff, residents, and carers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure all activities are tailored to meet the specific needs and abilities of each resident.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the program and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a related field (e.g. Leisure Studies, Recreation Management) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in aged care or community settings, preferably with individuals living with dementia or mental health illness.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, residents, and carers.
