Fixed Plant Operator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fixed Plant Operator to join our team at Kens Bore. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining a range of fixed plant equipment, including stockyard balance machines, crushers, screens, conveyors and associated fixed plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Control and operation of stockyard balance machines, crushers, screens, conveyors and associated fixed plant equipment.
  • Inspection & checking, reporting and recording of operating parameters and other relevant information as required.
  • All aspects of housekeeping including cleaning of mobile plant, control room and company vehicles.
  • Manual handling ability of up to 40kg.
  • Identify, investigate, report and fix all defects and spillage in assigned areas of the fixed plant.
  • Assisting maintenance workers with maintenance and servicing of Plant and Equipment during Plant shutdowns and breakdowns.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated safety commitment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to carry out work instructions and directives to provide satisfactory outcomes.
  • Ability to work within a team environment to achieve desired results.
  • Flexible and versatile attitude.
  • Current Australian Driver's License (HR license desirable).
  • Loader/Skid Steer/Moxy/Water Cart.
  • Construction Induction Card.
  • Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Testing (desirable).
