Join a global diversified mining services group as Principal Sustainability Specialist in Perth CBD.

This role reports to the Vice President Sustainability and will assist in developing and maintaining sustainability-related processes and initiatives.

The successful candidate will lead the development of company-wide Sustainability strategic objectives, sustainability standards, and initiatives.

The key responsibilities include leading audits and site inspections, identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement in environmental and sustainability management across the Group.

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Environment/Sustainability/Social related discipline or equivalent experience and a minimum 3 years experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and partner with operating businesses to roll out social performance expectations.
  • SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT AND EXECUTION OF A GROUP-WIDE DECARBONIZATION PLAN.
  • Coordinate internal sustainability awareness campaigns.
  • Drive enhanced disclosure practices and investor engagement.
  • Lead the preparation of the Annual Sustainability Report and Modern Slavery Statement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Environment/Sustainability/Social related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Minimum 5-10 years experience in environmental/sustainability/community relations management in the mining or related industry
  • High level of communication, influencing, engagement, and negotiation skills
