Immersive Coding Educator Role

Rocket Academy seeks innovative educators to lead coding and robotics classes for primary school students in afterschool and weekend programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead coding and robotics classes using LEGO kits and Scratch coding software, fostering curiosity and creativity through inquiry-based learning.
  • Develop engaging lesson plans that make every class both fun and educational, building confidence in students.
  • Prepare, deliver, and support lessons with provided curriculum, ensuring seamless integration of technology and pedagogy.
  • Maintain and prepare kits and devices for each session, guaranteeing a smooth educational experience.
  • Act as a positive role model and mentor for young learners, inspiring them to pursue STEM careers.
Requirements
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC) – required for the position.
  • A car and valid driver's license – essential for travel to schools and venues, facilitating easy accessibility.
