**Job Opportunity:**

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Professional to join our team.

**About the Role:**

This position involves providing evidence-based assessment, formulation, and intervention for individuals with mental health disorders and other barriers preventing them from entering employment or beginning study.

You will be supporting customers to address their non-vocational barriers and develop their skills and job readiness. The role may also involve delivering training relevant to the field and consulting with other service providers.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

To be successful in this role, you will have degree-level qualifications in a relevant field, such as Counselling or Social Work. You must be able to demonstrate experience in delivering a wide range of therapeutic interventions and possess high interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in providing counselling and short-term intervention to customers with complex needs.

**Benefits:**

This full-time ongoing position offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work a 9 day fortnight with a dedicated fixed day off every second week. You will also receive the remuneration of a full-time employee and have the ability to salary sacrifice.

**What You'll Bring:**

- Experience in building positive interpersonal and external relationships;
- Ability to deliver 1:1 counselling intervention and problem-solve complex presenting co-morbidities;
- Delivery of group training and psychoeducation;
- Ability to work independently and as an effective team member across multiple sites and teams;
- Excellent time management and administration skills and high computer literacy;
- Ability to work effectively with a culturally diverse range of clients, employers, and staff;
- Strategies to effectively resolve conflict;
- Sound understanding of available mental health and other support services.
