About the Role:
As a successful Customer Success Manager, you'll leverage your consultative mindset to drive value for clients by utilizing our technology solutions within their industries. You will play a key role in fostering long-lasting partnerships and delivering customized return on investment analysis for your client base.
This position will report to the Mid-Market Manager and be based in Sydney. We are seeking someone to join our team who has experience in account management, preferably in a SaaS environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Gain a strong understanding of best practices relevant to retaining and growing accounts while mitigating risk
- Develop and execute on-account strategies for mid-market accounts while working alongside Sales to deliver positive outcomes for clients
- Build trust and create meaningful relationships among champions and key executives within each account
- Evaluate clients' understanding of the value we deliver to their business through regular business reviews that mirror their goals and objectives
- Identify and forecast risk as well as growth opportunities within the portfolio
- Staying up-to-date with customer needs, industry trends, market activities, and competitors to identify product improvements or new products
- 15-20% travel to client sites and other locations
Requirements:
- 2+ years of account management experience, preferably in a SaaS environment
- Bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent work experience
- Strong empathy for customers and passion for revenue and growth
- Deep understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models
- Innovative, persuasive, creative, and have a genuine curiosity in clients' businesses
- Goal-oriented, results-driven, optimistic, smart, value-added mindset, proactive, and easily adaptable to change
- Must work well within a team environment
