Job Overview

We're seeking a senior civil engineer to lead complex projects and deliver innovative solutions. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact in a company that values quality, collaboration, and technical excellence.

As a senior civil engineer, you'll be responsible for leading civil engineering projects across land development, commercial, and industrial sectors. You'll manage project timelines, budgets, and client liaison while ensuring efficient and accurate outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead civil engineering projects from concept to completion.
  • Manage project variations, approvals, and communications with councils and authorities.
  • Represent the organization at project meetings, inspections, and client engagements.
Design & Technical Expertise:
  • Prepare detailed designs, drawings, and documentation across stormwater drainage, bulk earthworks, roadworks, traffic management, and water/sewage systems.
  • Investigate complex engineering problems and develop practical solutions.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, codes, and best practices.
Partner & Client Experience:
  • Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and government agencies.
  • Provide expert technical advice and guidance to clients and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate effectively to achieve project objectives and resolve challenges constructively.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience leading civil engineering projects in land development, commercial, or industrial sectors.
  • Strong technical knowledge across drainage, roadworks, earthworks, and water/sewage systems.
  • Demonstrated project management experience, including budgeting, resourcing, and client liaison.
