About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Performance Analyst to join our team, responsible for delivering strategic analytical services that inform business decision-making and monitor performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver analytical services that support business improvement, planning processes and new initiatives in accordance with strategic priorities.
  • Partner with stakeholders at various levels to deliver and analyse results and provide expert advice, insight and guidance on strategies, performance and initiatives.
  • Contribute to research, benchmarking and data initiatives by participating in the development and implementation of frameworks, methodologies, standards and reporting processes.
  • Undertake research, modelling, scenario analysis, forecasting using both quantitative and qualitative methods to support business planning and performance monitoring.
  • Develop specialised dashboards, reports, presentations and recommendations to communicate complex analytical findings for various stakeholders, supporting informed decision-making.
Requirements
  • Advanced data wrangling and automation skills, proficient in R or Python, with the ability to build robust, replicable, and automated data processes.
  • Insightful communication and visualisation skills, skilled in translating complex data into clear insights using tools like R/Python and Power BI.
  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, with experience in a similar role within a large and complex organisation, or proven equivalent competency gained through any other combination of experience, education or training.
  • Demonstrated success in developing tools and implementing processes to monitor organisational performance including data collection and reporting of both University and Faculty / Divisional KPIs.
