Procurement Officer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Officer to manage our procurement and contracting processes. This is a critical role that requires effective management of tendering, contract compliance, and supplier relationships.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our procurement processes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the internal Capital Expenditure Budget
  • Preparing and coordinating tenders and contractual documentation
  • Administering contract compliance, reporting, and relationships
  • Maintaining the contracts database and actioning contract renewals
  • Engaging suppliers and improving value delivered to the organisation
  • Implementing standard products to increase efficiency and cost benefit

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Business, or a related field
  • A current Working with Children check (with clearance to work with children)
  • National Police Check (we will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes)
  • NDIS Workers clearance
  • Previous experience in a procurement, tendering, and/or contracting environment
  • Knowledge of procurement concepts, processes, and tasks
  • Demonstrated competence in PC Applications software, e.g. Word, Excel, Contract Administration Applications and Integrated Business systems
