Key Account Manager Opportunity">

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for a portfolio of existing clients, as well as developing new business opportunities. They will oversee scrap metal procurement and coordinate delivery to nominated facilities. Working closely with the State Trading Managers and Account Executive team, they will contribute to operational safety and drive excellence in customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing a portfolio of existing accounts and developing new business">
  • Developing rapport with customers and tailoring products and services to their specific needs">
  • Prioritizing work demands to manage customer retention and satisfaction">
  • Negotiating quotes based on bespoke customer requirements">
  • Ensuring compliance to relevant regulations in all customer and contractor interactions">
  • Supporting the 'Goal Zero' strategy by operating in a manner that does not expose themselves or others to hazards that could result in injury or illness">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in sales or account management, preferably in the scrap metal recycling industry. They must be able to influence outcomes with various stakeholder groups and demonstrate a clear solutions-focused mindset. Additionally, they should possess excellent time management and project planning skills.
