Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cost Engineer to join our Brisbane office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing cost management services to clients in the construction and infrastructure sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide cost estimating and management services to clients, including preparation of detailed estimates and cost reports.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement cost management strategies.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and identify potential cost savings.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in cost management.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years' experience in cost engineering or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of cost management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cost management software, such as Expert Estimator.
  • Knowledge of project logistics and project schedules.
  • Experience working on site for a civil contractor as a site/project engineer.
