Job Description

As a Supervised Contact Worker, you will play a crucial role in facilitating safe and meaningful family time for children and young people in the Permanency Support Program with their families and significant others.

You will mentor children and young people in various settings, providing written updates and reports, while strengthening family connections between children, young people, and their families.

This rewarding role allows you to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable individuals and families, while also having opportunities for upskilling and professional development supported by a dedicated team.

  • Develop strong relationships with children, young people, and their families through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Write reports and complete formal documentation in relevant software programs.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, thinking critically and making informed decisions in complex situations.
  • Be flexible and willing to work non-standard hours as required.
  • Hold a current NSW Working With Children Check, NDIS Workers Screening Check, and full COVID vaccination status.
  • Possess an Australian Driver's Licence.
