Job Title: IT Support Specialist – Senior Role

As a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technical support and leadership, you will play a pivotal role in resolving complex technical issues for clients while mentoring and assisting our team of technicians.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Resolve support tickets efficiently and professionally, providing advanced troubleshooting to deliver a positive client experience.
  • Communication: Manage and resolve escalated tickets, maintaining clear and frequent communication with clients to identify, communicate, and mitigate potential risks.
  • Leadership: Demonstrate professionalism by leading from the front, mentoring and upskilling junior staff, and working closely with the service desk manager to mature operational delivery.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with the service desk team to develop and improve standard operating procedures, promoting security awareness and adherence to security protocols.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in senior systems administration roles, including at least 4 years in a senior systems administrator position.
  • Expert-level knowledge and experience in at least 2 technology domains.
  • Excellent communication skills, with highly developed active listening skills and the ability to adapt your communication style to suit different audiences.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation, familiarity with Cybersecurity best practices, and experience with enterprise-grade backup and recovery solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems, Remote Desktop Services deployments, and networking protocols, configurations, and troubleshooting.
