Job Overview

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a leading international company. As a Safety & Security Co-worker, you will play a key part in ensuring the safety and security of our customers and employees.


Responsibilities
  • Manage visitor access, contractor access, and co-worker access to and from the store.
  • Provide administrative support with tasks such as audits, incident reporting, database management, and filing.
  • Monitor and review CCTV footage, conduct investigations, respond quickly and efficiently to alarms, and initiate emergency response procedures if necessary.
  • Assist in ensuring the store complies with all IKEA and local rules, guidelines, and legislative requirements to protect assets and the IKEA brand.

Requirements
  • A valid NSW Security license Class 1A and first aid certificate, or a willingness and ability to obtain these licenses.
  • A passion for promoting a safe working environment with a strong commitment to lead by example.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills, able to remain calm and clear even during emergencies.
  • A proven ability to multitask and handle ad hoc tasks while maintaining daily responsibilities.
  • Experience in completing administrative and reporting tasks while adhering to deadlines.
