As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving our nutrition strategy and ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nutrition Manager to join our Corowa-based team on a permanent full-time basis. Reporting to the General Manager of Farm Operations, you will be responsible for leading our Nutrition team to deliver timely technical support to our farming operations and feedmill teams.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with our farming operations and feedmill teams to provide expert technical support across animal nutrition, feed formulation, and feed manufacture
  • Developing and refining diets for our pig farming operations and external clients
  • Overseeing quality control of raw materials and finished feed
  • Managing feed cost budgets and raw material usage reporting
  • Leading pig nutrition-related trials with our Research & Innovation Unit
  • Coordinating weekly nutrition meetings and monthly performance reports
  • Ensuring timely production and delivery of research diets

You will also be responsible for collaborating with other departments to support key business activities and upholding our company policies while contributing to a culture of excellence.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in animal nutrition or a related field
  • Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience in feed formulation and nutrition principles
  • Experience in intensive animal production systems
  • Advanced computer and data analysis skills
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and logistics capabilities
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to influence positively
  • Strong time management and confidentiality skills
