About the Role

As a dynamic Nutrition Manager, you'll formulate diets for pig farming operations and external clients, provide expert technical support, and oversee quality control.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a high-performing team to deliver technical expertise and support
  • Formulating diets for pig farming operations and external clients
  • Providing technical guidance on animal nutrition, feed formulation, and feed manufacture
  • Developing and refining feed products for external markets
  • Overseeing raw material quality and finished feed production
  • Managing feed costs and raw material usage reporting
  • Coordinating trials with our Research & Innovation Unit
  • Facilitating weekly nutrition meetings and monthly performance reports
  • Ensuring timely production and delivery of research diets
  • Reviewing and meeting annual objectives aligned with business goals
  • Collaborating across departments to support key activities

Requirements:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in animal nutrition or a related field
  • Strong knowledge and experience in feed formulation and nutrition principles
  • Experience in intensive animal production systems
  • Advanced computer and data analysis skills
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and logistics capabilities
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to influence positively
  • Strong time management and confidentiality skills
