Job Description

This role involves overseeing the financial planning and accounting practices of the dealership. As a manager, you will be responsible for regularly reporting to management on the dealership's financial status and conducting analyses to ensure the business operates efficiently and meets its goals.

You will act as a key advisor to senior management and drive strategic decision-making by providing insights into the dealership's financial performance.

  • Annual salary ranging from $75,000 to $90,000 based on your experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the development of the dealership's annual budget and cash flow forecast.
  2. Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  3. Conduct regular analysis of the dealership's financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  4. Develop and implement financial planning and forecasting models to inform business decisions.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and reports, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the automotive industry.
  • College diploma in accounting or equivalent experience.
  • Accounting title (an asset).
  • Knowledge of the full accounting cycle.
  • Familiarity with month-end and year-end procedures.
  • The ability to read, write, and speak both French and English.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of Serti and Employeur D software (an asset).
