Executive Chef Opportunity
  • This exciting role requires a professional with exceptional culinary expertise to oversee our hotel kitchen, leading the team to deliver top-quality food production.
Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef who can effectively manage daily kitchen operations, maintaining efficiency and productivity while adhering to high standards of food safety and quality control.

  • Maintain comprehensive departmental standards and procedures ensuring seamless operations.
  • Develop onboarding programs for new staff to ensure smooth integration into the team.
  • Ensure thorough training needs analysis and implement targeted training programs.
  • Conduct regular probation and performance appraisals to drive employee growth and development.
  • Direct the kitchen team, including Commis/Demi chefs, cooks, kitchen attendants, and stewards.
  • Liaise with stewarding departments to verify equipment requirements and promote OHS&W policies and procedures.
  • Champion the identification and reporting of hazards, establishing health and safety representatives and providing induction training.
  • Lead by example, championing our winning ways culture within the hotel.
  • Develop popular menus offering guests value for money.
  • Plan and organize successful Food and Beverage activities.
  • Control and analyze department costs, maintaining comprehensive product knowledge.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or relevant equivalent.
  • Over two years of chef experience or equivalent combination of education and culinary experience.
  • Current food safety certification and fluency in English.
