We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing project quality control plans to ensure construction meets or exceeds all contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Implement and manage project quality control plans;">
  • Ensure construction meets or exceeds all contract requirements;">
  • Manage and maintain healthy client relationships;">
  • Develop and implement the Project Quality Control Plan to ensure contract compliance;">
  • Effectively communicate QC Plan expectations and requirements with all stakeholders;">
  • Perform quality inspections per contract requirements and the 3-phase quality system;">
  • Proactively inspect in-process work to ensure contract conformance and minimize rework;">
  • Establish inspection protocols for off-site work to ensure high-quality standards are enforced;">
  • Manage the efforts of all third-party testing and inspection companies supporting the project;">
  • Review all submittals to ensure compliance with contract specifications before submission;">
  • Perform internal/external audits as necessary to ensure compliance with the QC Plan;">
  • Maintain and manage RFI and Non-Conformance Registers to resolve all construction issues;">
  • Submit meaningful quality information in daily/weekly/monthly QC Reports;">
  • Assist in the development and preparation of QC Plans for future projects.">

Requirements:

">
  • ">
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience managing a US Federal Government (NAVFAC, USACE, etc.) QC Program with multiple specialists under their leadership;">
  • Minimum 5+ years as a QC professional on construction projects valued $10M+;">
  • 2-yr or 4-yr Degree in construction, engineering, or related fields;">
  • USACE CQCM certification strongly desired, or must attain within 30 days of hiring;">
  • 30-hour OSHA certification strongly desired, or must attain within 30 days of hiring;">
  • Proficiency with a computer and MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel);">
  • Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English;">
  • Ability to successfully pass background/security check;">
  • Secret or above Security Clearance strongly desired.">
