Senior Communications Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Senior Communications Specialist to craft compelling narratives, drive media strategy, and amplify thought leadership across digital channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop proactive PR and media strategies to create engaging content for financial professionals and retail investors.
  • Built strong relationships with financial and business media, managing journalist and influencer connections.
  • Draft press releases, op-eds, and media pitches showcasing brand expertise and thought leadership.
  • Coordinate interviews and commentary opportunities for key spokespeople, amplifying their influence.
  • Lead thought leadership initiatives, curating client success stories and managing content calendars for maximum engagement.
  • Pitch speakers for events and manage award submissions, establishing brand reputation and credibility.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in PR, media, or communications, preferably in financial services, asset management, or fintech.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, finance, or economics, or a related field.
  • Strong media network and proven track record of securing coverage, with exceptional writing and storytelling skills.
  • Experience with media partnerships and digital content distribution, as well as knowledge of PR tools like Meltwater or Streem.
  • Familiarity with compliance in financial media and strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
