Introduction:

As part of our continued growth, we're looking for a Senior Medical Communications Specialist to join our Global Medical Affairs team at our Sydney Headquarters.

In this role, you will translate complex clinical and scientific data into clear, engaging, and accurate materials across a variety of platforms and formats—including peer-reviewed publications, medical education resources, digital assets, and internal training content.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver medical and scientific communications including publications, white papers, educational materials, and slide decks
• Create engaging audio/visual content such as infographics, videos, and podcasts
• Ensure consistency and scientific integrity across all medical communication assets
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to align messaging and deliver high-quality outputs
• Lead the development of scientific content for marketing and training initiatives
• Manage the review and approval process for medical communications projects
• Stay current with therapeutic and industry trends to inform content development
• Maintain timelines and ensure all projects are delivered on time and to a high standard
  
  

Skills And Experience

• 5-10 years' experience in medical communications, medical affairs, or healthcare writing
• Degree in a scientific, medical or health-related discipline (MSc/PhD desirable)
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements within the medical device industry
• Expert ability to translate complex scientific content for a variety of audiences
• Skilled in strategic narrative development and content alignment with business objectives
• Familiarity with AI-powered tools for content development is a plus
