  • To identify and evaluate suppliers, compare pricing, specifications, terms, and delivery schedules to determine the optimal choice for the organization.
  • To address inquiries from internal teams and suppliers, analyzing metrics, project timelines, management reports, contracts, and approving necessary requisitions.
  • To set performance benchmarks for suppliers; assess the total cost of ownership.
  • To devise procurement strategies for the acquisition, receipt, and tracking of project materials that enhance quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
  • To oversee supplier selection, credit terms, monitor supplier performance metrics, and conduct ongoing assessments.
  • To research potential suppliers through various channels, including online resources, catalogs, trade publications, and exhibitions. Conduct interviews with prospective suppliers to ascertain pricing, discounts, and terms. Document comparisons of vendor offerings to aid management decisions.
  • To prepare, maintain, and review purchasing documentation, price lists, contract statuses, locate suppliers, monitor subcontractor performance, and calculate order costs.
  • To formulate procurement plans and ensure their execution across materials, engineering, and logistics teams, encompassing planning, purchasing, expediting, shipping, receiving, inspections, integration, and logistics.
  • To develop strategies for the effective organization and temporary storage of project materials and general inventories at various locations.
  • To optimize the material and supplier portfolio, determining which materials should be procured in bulk and which are best acquired for specific projects. Establish stocking criteria for partners and their replenishment levels.
  • To collaborate with management in negotiating contracts and credit lines with suppliers and subcontractors as necessary.
  • To prepare and communicate product directions, availability, lead times, model transitions, and cost roadmaps for key materials to Sales, Sales Operations, Product Development, Product Marketing, and Product Management teams.
  • To ensure adherence to relevant policies and procedures, such as Authority Limit Policy and Purchasing Policy, while leading all cost reduction initiatives.
  • The procurement manager establishes methodologies for inventory levels and buffer stocks for commonly used items to ensure they meet the company's needs and adjusts as necessary.

Your Expertise - Our Asset

  • A university degree is preferred or a minimum of two years of proven experience in procurement or sourcing roles.
  • Extensive experience in the chemical industry or hardware market with a background in procurement, logistics, or project management.
  • Strong knowledge of systems and processes, preferably SAP and Power BI.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • An analytical mindset with a knack for problem-solving.
  • A keen attention to detail.
  • High levels of self-motivation and initiative.
