We are seeking a Supply Chain Officer to join our passionate, committed and tenacious team to develop strategies and execute system operations for Dynamo Fitness Equipment’s growing procurement and logístical demands, as well as support store inventory and warehouse operations.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the purchasing officer is responsible for supporting stores in the order fulfilment process, planning & execution, inventory management, as well as supporting the team with various logistics & procurement projects to ultimately deliver improvements to Dynamo Fitness.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Maintain and update the Supply Chain module within the ERP system, including managing inventory and creating SKUs. Ensure that supplier and product information in the procurement and inventory system is consistently accurate and up to date.
- Develop strategies to optimize stock levels, reduce order timelines, and minimize procurement and stock holding costs.
- Manage the full procurement cycle for inventory, including stock forecasting, supply chain planning, and inventory management across all categories. This includes obtaining quotes, raising purchase orders, and managing order shipping and tracking to various outlets.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across all stores/warehouses, ensuring stock sufficiency.
- Assist in select procurement and sourcing activities to support the team.
- Provide support for key logistics and supply chain projects as needed.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager to source better products, raw materials, and parts aligned with the brand's strategy, while ensuring optimal value and low risk.
- Coordinate and evaluate new product trials, leading the implementation where necessary.
- Facilitate and process branch transfers, ensuring adherence to procedural guidelines.
- Continuously assess procurement operations and stock management systems, initiating improvement actions in coordination with the Director.
- Communicate with factories, suppliers, and shipping companies (both domestic and international) to support new and ongoing business opportunities.
- Identify and report product or supplier non-conformance issues, implementing appropriate corrective actions.
- Conduct completion reviews, analyse results, and execute necessary follow-up actions.
- Analyse financial expenditure and produce reports to support the development of future procurement strategies.

**Selection Criteria**

**Essential**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience gained within a supply chain execution, buying or purchasing role.
- Demonstrated high level knowledge of international procurement, distribution and logistics processes and models.
- Established experience obtaining quotes, purchasing products at scale and undertaking coordination of supplier and shipping contracts.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, take ownership, show initiative and responsibility for assigned duties as well as effectively liaise with staff.
- Proficient ability to implement, develop and utilise procurement/inventory software.
- Demonstrated high level analytical, problem solving, time management and organisational skills
- Possess excellent presentation and communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal), to be able to consult, negotiate and facilitate cooperation and relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate ongoing commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.

**Desirable**:

- Forklift license
