
Retail and Hospitality Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven retail and hospitality manager to join our leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, direct, and evaluate the operations of the retail and hospitality business.
- Lead, supervise, and train staff to achieve performance and service targets.
- Manage inventory, stock levels, purchasing, and supplier relationships.
- Organise and oversee local weekend and public holiday food market stalls.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety, and company policies.
- Handle customer service, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.
- Prepare staff rosters, manage recruitment, and conduct performance reviews.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance, budgets, and profitability.
- Implement marketing and promotional activities to increase sales of semi-cooked pastry and dumpling products.
- Work closely with our chef/director to develop and expand takeaway pastry and dumpling product lines.
- Minimum 1 year's experience in a management role within the retail or hospitality industry.
- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in hospitality, business, or management (degree from an Australian university highly regarded).
- Strong business and analytical skills.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, staffing, and inventory control.
- High level of problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
