Job Title: Retail and Hospitality Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven retail and hospitality manager to join our leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, direct, and evaluate the operations of the retail and hospitality business.
  • Lead, supervise, and train staff to achieve performance and service targets.
  • Manage inventory, stock levels, purchasing, and supplier relationships.
  • Organise and oversee local weekend and public holiday food market stalls.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety, and company policies.
  • Handle customer service, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Prepare staff rosters, manage recruitment, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance, budgets, and profitability.
  • Implement marketing and promotional activities to increase sales of semi-cooked pastry and dumpling products.
  • Work closely with our chef/director to develop and expand takeaway pastry and dumpling product lines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in a management role within the retail or hospitality industry.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in hospitality, business, or management (degree from an Australian university highly regarded).
  • Strong business and analytical skills.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, staffing, and inventory control.
  • High level of problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
