Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Operations Manager to lead our retail and hospitality business. The successful candidate will have a strong background in management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage day-to-day operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, direct, and evaluate the operational efficiency of the retail and hospitality business.
  • Lead, supervise, and train staff to achieve performance and service targets, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
  • Manage inventory, stock levels, purchasing, and supplier relationships, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Organise and oversee local food market stalls, creating engaging customer experiences.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety, and company policies, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Handle customer service, feedback, and complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly.
  • Prepare staff rosters, manage recruitment, and conduct performance reviews, promoting employee growth and development.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance, budgets, and profitability, making informed business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in a management role within retail or hospitality.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in hospitality, business, or management.
  • Strong business and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience, with a track record of success.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
