We achieve this through a network of hospitals, residential care homes and home-based care services. Additionally, we provide support for dementia, community palliative care, rehabilitation and older persons' mental health.

The role of the Volunteer Manager is pivotal in supporting our care recipients. As a leader of a team of Volunteer Coordinators, you will oversee volunteer services across designated areas ensuring alignment with organisational goals.

You will provide strategic leadership to the VCs, enhance the effectiveness of volunteer programs and foster strong relationships with Operational Managers.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Management and mentoring of Volunteer Coordinators
  • Motivate and guide VC teams to improve the quality of life for those in our care
  • Build strong relationships with Operational Managers to understand their priorities
  • Oversight of Volunteer Systems
  • Maximising the engagement of volunteers
  • Evaluate volunteer satisfaction and implement strategies to enhance retention
