
Lead Quality Improvement Expert

Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a Quality Specialist to provide specialist quality management advice to operational teams at the local level. The successful candidate will contribute towards the efficiency and effectiveness of our Residential Aged and Health Care team, collaborating with the wider team to lead and facilitate local implementation of stream-wide quality management strategies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Providing specialist advice at the local level in clinical governance and quality
- Enabling Service Managers to implement effective quality improvement activities, including auditing and complaints and incident management
- Contributing towards the efficiency and effectiveness of our Residential Aged and Health Care team
- Collaborating with the wider Residential Aged and Health Care team to lead and facilitate local implementation of stream-wide quality management strategies
Requirements and Skills:
- Previous experience (minimum of 3 years) in a quality improvement role within a medium to large organisation
- Demonstrated experience in providing advice into complaints management and clinical investigations
- High-level understanding of contemporary approaches to quality management in the health and/or aged care industry
- Passion for social change and contributing to an organisation of influence for the most disadvantaged
- Ability to navigate a complex organisation, forge relationships, and manage through influence rather than direct authority
