Investment Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated investment professional to support our portfolio manager in identifying, researching and evaluating public equity investments. The role requires a strong understanding of financial analysis, business models and market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct fundamental research on potential long and short investment opportunities across various sectors.
  • Build and maintain financial models and valuations.
  • Perform industry and competitive analysis to identify secular trends and company-specific drivers.
  • Monitor existing portfolio positions and recommend adjustments based on changing company or macro fundamentals.
  • Generate actionable investment ideas with clearly articulated theses, catalysts and risk/reward profiles.
  • Participate in management meetings, earnings calls and other industry events.
Requirements:
  • Must have 3-5 years of relevant experience in equity research or funds management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field; MBA, CFA or CPA preferred.
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
  • Solid understanding of accounting and financial statements.
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity.
  • Ability to think independently and challenge consensus views.
Preferred Attributes:
  • Prior experience in long/short equity strategies.
  • Familiarity with data platforms such as Bloomberg or similar tools.
