About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Public Affairs Specialist to join our leadership team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering future-focused communication strategies that align with our business needs and priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high-performing team to balance complex needs and priorities in an agile way.
  • Develop communication strategies in partnership with senior managers.
  • Provide strategic advice and guidance to leaders and stakeholders across the division.
  • Oversee the delivery of strategic communication activities that reflect our vision, values, and priorities.
  • Develop engaging and targeted content that resonates with key audience groups.
  • Create opportunities for staff to build relationships and increase engagement through learning and development.
  • Consult on the most appropriate and effective use of communication channels and branding.
  • Implement metrics to evaluate the success of communication strategies and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in implementing communications strategies at senior levels within an organization.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or a similar discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Team management experience.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement.
