Job Title:

Data Engineer

This role is centered around handling data development and engineering tasks to ensure adherence to data documentation. Our team seeks a Data Engineering professional who can provide technical guidance on data designs and models.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Establish data modeling, development, and release standards with the team.
  • Lead knowledge transfer sessions on best practices for development, data modeling, and release.
  • Manage the technical implementation of new data from analysis to delivery, including designing data dictionaries and defining best practices.
  • Promote continuous improvement in delivery, coding standards, and documentation, offering training to the team.
  • Prioritize tasks and manage work queues efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain SQL code and system documentation for optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with data teams, developers, testers, and IT support to achieve common goals.

Required Qualifications:
  • Experience leading data and analytics transformation programs to drive business outcomes.
  • Expertise in Cloud Data Platforms, data architecture, and security protocols.
  • Ability to translate business data into actionable insights using advanced data analysis techniques.
  • High proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with experience working in Agile Delivery frameworks.
  • Experience deploying complex technologies and working with diverse project teams.
  • Scrum Master certification and experience leading Scrum teams.
  • Familiarity with SAS Viya 4 and proficiency in SQL and Python programming languages.
