Job Title: Data Migration Specialist

Length of Contract: 24 months + 3 x 12-month extensions, renewable upon satisfactory performance

The Data Migration Specialist will work on a range of complex projects, transformations, data migrations and other programs, utilizing various technologies including Oracle, Microsoft Power Platform, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, and Cloud Technology.
Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive data migration plans, strategies, and procedures.
  • Utilizing ETL tools and scripting languages like SQL to extract data from source systems, transform it to fit the target system's format, and load it into the destination.
  • Identifying, mapping, and reconciling data fields between source and target systems, ensuring accurate data transfer and data integrity.
  • Implementing data validation and testing procedures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of the migrated data, including data profiling and reconciliation.
  • Documenting data migration processes, procedures, and configurations for future reference and maintenance.
