About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team at KinCare. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our elderly customers in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management.
  • Assist with domestic tasks, including cleaning and laundry.
  • Support customers with meal preparation and shopping.
  • Provide social support and transport to lifestyle activities.
  • Assist with mobility and therapy goals.
  • Provide respite and emotional support.
  • Support customers with complex care needs, such as dementia.

Requirements

  • Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support, Disability or Nursing.
  • Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role, including experience with personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medications.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle.
  • Availability to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday.
