About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Uniting. As a Support Worker, you will provide care and companionship to older people living in their own homes, helping to empower their independence and improve their quality of life in the Hornsby area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
  • Assist clients with household tasks, such as housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
  • Transport clients to appointments and social events, using your own car.
  • Engage clients in social and wellbeing activities, such as outings and Healthy Living for Seniors programs.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience providing client-centred care, preferably in a home care or aged care setting.
  • Current First Aid certificate.
  • Driver's licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
