**The Role**

We are seeking an experienced Rural Nursing Specialist to join our team at Julia Creek MPHS. This is a permanent full-time position that offers advanced clinical and problem-solving skills, expert planning, and coordination skills in the clinical management of emergency and in-patients, residents and clients with complex care needs.

The successful candidate will demonstrate effective co-ordination of staff and utilisation of unit resources to optimise service delivery and compliance with the Business Planning Framework.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Requirements**

  • Mandatory requirements include a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences
  • A Class Motor Vehicle Licence
  • Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks

**What We Offer**

  • Base salary ranges between $107,960 and $115,604 p.a. (Nurse Grade 6 (Band1))

  • Long Service Leave and Sick Leave accrual
  • Tax savings through salary sacrificing options
  • Return airfares p.a. (including spouse/dependents) to the nearest east coast provincial city
  • 5 weeks p.a. recreation leave with a 17.5% loading/bonus
  • Staff accommodation or private rental subsidy of AUD$82.50 per week for up to 17 months
