Speech Pathologist Opportunity in Rural North Queensland

This organisation provides culturally competent allied health, aged care, mental health and wellbeing services to over 50 remote and rural Queensland communities. With a strong commitment to supporting healthier people, they are seeking full-time Speech Pathologists to join their team in Mount Isa.

As part of a diverse and multidisciplinary team, you'll be providing speech pathology services in regional North Qld, working collaboratively with specialists to provide holistic care and long-term treatment strategies.

You will work with a range of clients, set your own schedule and help community members thrive through your care and expertise. You'll see the real difference your work makes in rural communities as you enable clients to live and receive high-quality care locally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer assessments to determine the nature and extent of speech, language, learning and communication disorders or swallowing difficulties.
  • Provide treatment and management for a range of conditions including developmental, acquired and disabling disorders.
  • Deliver early childhood intervention strategies.
