We are currently seeking a Senior Façade Engineer to join our Technical Specialists group in Sydney.

This role will involve consulting services in façade diagnostics and existing buildings, working on high-profile and impactful projects. As a part of our diversely skilled local and global team, you will be responsible for undertaking defined parts of design projects, client relationships, financial success, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of your work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work independently with minimal supervision, taking ownership of defined parts of design projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Contribute to the financial success of the project, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of your work, as well as the work of others, through rigorous testing and validation.
  • Represent your team or area to clients and at internal meetings, providing expert advice and guidance.

Requirements

  • Recognized tertiary qualifications in Structural, Mechanical, Materials, Façade, Civil, Architectural, or similar areas.
  • Experience leading remedial façade projects, with a strong understanding of building structures, facades, and construction materials.
  • Relevant understanding of problems related to building structures, facades, and construction materials, with a focus on improvement options.
  • Awareness of construction contracts, procurement, and contract administration, with a willingness to train in Industrial Rope Access.
