Job Title: Transformation Communications Lead

Lime Recruitment is currently working with a large Queensland government department to recruit a Transformation Communications Lead for a short-term contract. The role is based in the Brisbane CBD and involves working from home.

The Transformation Communications Lead will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of change communications and related activities to support the implementation of key reform initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct a variety of media and communications activities, including producing internal communication materials to support the reform agenda.
  • Oversee the coordination and development of change messaging and transformation communications to effectively socialise key reform initiatives across the agency.
  • Design and implement communication activities and artefacts across with respect to the strategic narrative of reform agenda; specifically, the role of the Transformation Office.
  • Manage the distribution of internal transformation communications through a range of channels and evaluate the effectiveness of those channels.
  • Identify communications and portfolio needs by appropriately sourcing information for analysis, overseeing report production and creating internal communication material as requested to provide comprehensive, accurate and timely responses.
  • Provide coaching and capability up-lift to communications resources across embedded in project delivery.
  • Direct and assure consistent communications messages in strategic communication, media, social media, marketing, and engagement activities for internal stakeholders, adhering to relevant policies, standards and legislative requirements, and provide recommendations for improvements to the Director Portfolio Change.
  • Contribute to a culture which fosters collaboration, evidence-based decision making, innovation, and performance orientation, where employees are passionate about their work and take personal accountability for their actions.
