Licensing Officer
This role involves providing guidance to internal and external stakeholders on entity registrations, certification, professional indemnity insurance, and low-risk suitability assessments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing guidance on entity registrations, certification, professional indemnity insurance, and low-risk suitability assessments
- Preparing correspondence, memorandums, and reports on complex matters
- Maintaining information and documentation in information systems and databases
- Gathering and analysing data to identify risks and make recommendations about continuous improvement to processes
- Relevant experience in a licensing, government, or regulatory environment
- High-level communication and negotiation skills
- Tertiary qualification in law (highly regarded)
- Prior experience working in a licensing, government, and/or regulatory environment
- Prior experience as a paralegal (highly regarded)
This is a short-term assignment for up to 6 months with an immediate start, based in Melbourne CBD with the possibility of working from home. The anticipated hours per week are 38 (7.6 hours per day) for this contract.
The pay rate is inclusive of 25% casual loading.
Other Information:Key responsibilities will involve guiding clients through various tasks such as entity registrations and certifications while maintaining accurate records within established guidelines.
