Logistics Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Logistics & Expediting Officer to join our team at Interquip Construction Pty Ltd.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement logistics freight plans for projects.
- Liaise with freight companies and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and pick-ups.
- Process and complete shipping, expediting, and delivery of finished goods, including packaging, labeling, and shipping documentation.
- Expedite, optimize, and consolidate freight to ensure efficient transportation.
- Conduct freight checks, including arranging engineering support for technical assistance at suppliers and warehouses, prior to locking in freight to job sites.
- Assist with inventory ordering, expediting, and management of site tool containers.
Requirements
- Proven experience in logistics, preferably in construction or mining.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and IT systems.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and think critically.
- QC experience and qualifications are beneficial.
- Experience liaising with transport companies and logistics providers.
- High-risk work license for forklift operation.
