Senior Automation Test Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking highly skilled automation test specialists to ensure the quality of our digital solutions by creating and overseeing test plans and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans and cases for web-based applications using Azure DevOps.
  • Write, review, and execute test cases to effectively prioritize testing efforts and manage test case execution.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to analyze documented specifications, user stories, and requirements to generate test cases and test plans.
  • Raise defects, log, and track faults using departmental tools like Azure DevOps.
  • Provide advice and contribute to testing strategies while supporting the implementation of automation testing practices.
  • Ensure digital solutions comply with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and engage with business stakeholders throughout the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience or expertise in automated testing with strong software testing abilities.
  • Proficiency in creating test artefacts, such as writing, reviewing, and executing detailed test plans and cases.
  • Strong ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of testing digital solutions for conformance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience developing test plans/cases for custom applications, including the Azure and Microsoft suite of products and services.
  • Experience tracking and managing test plans and test cases through Azure DevOps.
  • Experience guiding User Acceptance Testing activities.
