Job Description

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Repair Centre Manager to join our team at AMA GROUP AUSTRALIA. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading our repair centre and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Workshop Management: Oversee the production management of the workshop to ensure targets are achieved and vehicles are repaired to their pre-accident condition in accordance with AMA and Work Provider quality expectations.
  • Quality, Quotes, Parts and Vehicle Management: Ensure comprehensive and accurate quotes, QA inspections, and vehicles are repaired to their pre-accident condition.
  • Customer Service and Stakeholder Management: Provide exceptional customer service to all clients and work providers through prompt, professional, and friendly interactions.
  • Profit and Loss, Reporting and Administration: Ensure the site is operating profitability. Prepare and review P&Ls, Budgets, Job costings, KPIs, Management Reports by utilizing the tools provided to understand site performance.
  • Leadership and People Management: Oversee staffing on site and ensure staffing levels and processes are in place. Proactively build and maintain positive work provider relationships.
  • Work Health and Safety (WHS): Ensure that the site remains safe by maintaining the WHS management system, all WHS policies and procedures are followed, and safety incidences/near misses are immediately reported and actioned.

Requirements:

  • Trade Qualified Panel Beater or Spray Painter or similar role within Automotive: We are looking for an individual with a trade qualification in panel beating or spray painting or a similar role within the automotive industry.
  • Highly Motivated and Driven to Exceed Targets: You will be a highly motivated and driven individual who is committed to exceeding targets and delivering high-quality results.
  • Proven Leadership and People Management Skills: You will have proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with staff and stakeholders.
  • Appropriate Australian Work Rights: You will have the appropriate Australian work rights to work in this role.
