About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Recycling Centre Attendant to join our team at TOMRA. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers have a great experience at our recycling centres.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring our customers are satisfied with their experience. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient environment for our team members and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring our customers have a positive experience
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient environment, including regular cleaning and maintenance of our reverse vending machines and sorting equipment
  • Ensure the sorting equipment is running efficiently by removing and replacing collection bins as they fill up
  • Monitor the recycling centre for any hazards and report concerns as they arise
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required by management
Requirements
  • Passion for recycling and the environment
  • Keen eye for detail and motivation to maintain a clean work environment
  • Safety champion, ensuring everyone returns home safely
  • Experience in face-to-face customer service
  • Physical fitness, some manual lifting required
