Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of innovative power electronics systems. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing AC voltage equipment and wiring for our BESS products, creating and supporting micro grids, loads and other test environments, providing specialized engineering support in power electronics for battery management, and maintaining suitable documentation of work conducted.

You will be working closely with our Hardware team to develop power electronics systems that meet our technology roadmap and help achieve our mission of engineering the future of battery energy storage.

We are looking for an individual who has experience designing BESS products and can provide expert engineering support in power electronics for battery management.

This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for innovation and problem-solving.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor/Masters/PhD in electrical engineering
  • Experience in BESS product creation or installation
  • In-depth knowledge of key standards such as AS3000
  • Product support experience

Nice-to-have experience includes electrician license, experience propagating technical knowledge via mentoring, and functional safety knowledge (IEC 60730 or equivalent).

About The Role

This position requires you to be primarily based on-site at our Melbourne office. However, we have a flexible culture and support adjusted working hours and work-from-home days in agreement with your manager.
