About the RoleThe Hardware team develops power electronics systems per our technology roadmap to help achieve our vision. As an Electrical Engineer, you'll design BESS products, focusing on electrical layout compliance and site installation compatibility.
You will also play a key role in designing and building our internal microgrids and test environments, including 3-phase loads and PV inputs.
Your Responsibilities- Design AC voltage equipment and wiring for our BESS products.
- Create and support micro grids, loads and other test environments.
- Provide specialised engineering support in power electronics for battery management.
- Support product requirements and maintain suitable documentation of work conducted.
- Participate in ad-hoc engineering tasks and activities as required.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Bachelor/Masters/PhD in electrical engineering and/or Electrician's Licence.
- Experience in BESS (or similar) product creation and/or installation.
- Experience with microgrids and microgrid controllers.
- In-depth knowledge of LV switchgear, including selection.
- Knowledge of key electrical standards such as AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008 and AS/NZS 4836.
