Job Title:

Pathology Service Reform Project Lead

Alfred Health hosts the Alfred Health/Monash Health Shared Pathology Service reform project. The Project Director will lead the delivery of major reform initiatives across the Alfred/Monash Shared Pathology Service network.

The Project Director will oversee the development and implementation of a Shared Pathology Strategy, fostering collaboration and alignment between health services. This pivotal role will operate across both health services, ensuring effective engagement and successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the establishment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the reform project
  • Reneew governance structures and stakeholder engagement plans
  • Implement agreed reform activities
  • Support service expansion
  • Represent the Shared Pathology Service in external forums
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, risk, and financial management standards

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Liaise with government agencies and contractors to ensure successful delivery of the reform project
  • Develop business cases and report on financial performance to stakeholders
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, inclusivity, and patient-centred care within the Shared Pathology Service
