Medical Receptionist Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and relay messages to relevant staff members promptly
  • Collect co-payments and fees, processing payments using electronic medical records systems securely
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring confidentiality of patient information at all times
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of experience in a busy GP clinic essential
  • Proficiency in 'BEST PRACTICE' System highly regarded
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively within a team-oriented setting
