About the Role

As a Strategic Procurement Specialist at Bayside Group, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing a progressive and commercially sound sourcing and procurement strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Head of Operations and key stakeholders to define, develop and implement the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Strategy.
  • Establish and maintain a governance framework for vendor pre-qualification, supplier onboarding, and sourcing in line with company policies, legislative requirements and best practices.
  • Create category specific solutions and establish preferred supplier partnerships.
  • Contribute to business profitability through effective cost control and procurement strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating prices and commercial terms.
  • Manage supplier additions and removals, ensuring compliance with procurement standards.
  • Support periodic procurement reporting and maintain accurate procurement documentation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in procurement and supply chain management.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage complex equipment logistics.
