The Role

You will gain exposure to the diversity of our mine sites with stimulating work and a wealth of professional experience. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with exploration and sampling programs
  • Interpreting, mapping and modelling the geology of a mine or exploration projects
  • Advising on coal quality and grade control to minimize mine dilution
  • Assisting in monthly reconciliation activities

In addition, you will have the opportunity to create geological models, and to analyze and interpret geological data to further the understanding of deposits. With adequate exposure and experience, you will be well prepared for success by working on mining and exploration projects and contributing to the Technical Services team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contributing to the exploration and sampling programs
  • Maintaining accurate records of geological data
  • Providing technical advice on coal quality and grade control
